The federal government on Thursday announced a five-day holiday for Eid ul Fitr 2023!

If approved, the Eid ul Fitr holidays are likely to be extended by one more day!

As per the news source, if the federal government approves, citizens are likely to get six Eid holidays. As the government is thinking to give a holiday on Thursday, April 20 as well.

Earlier, the Ministry of Interior announced five-day holidays starting from April 21 (Friday) to April 25 (Tuesday)on account of the Eid ul Fitr 2023 celebrations.

As per the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council (RHRC), Eid ul Fitr is likely to be celebrated across the country this year on Saturday, April 22 resultantly Friday, April 21 would be Jumat ul Widah.

Meanwhile,  the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to meet on April 20 for the sighting of the Shawwal crescent.
