Imaan Mazari taken into custody again shortly after her release from Adiala jail

Imaan Mazari is reported to have been taken into custody again shortly after her release from Adiala jail on Monday.

Human rights lawyer Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir was granted bail in a sedition case earlier in the day.

As reported, Islamabad Police was present outside the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi as she was released.

No reason has been given for the immediate arrest of Iman Mazari by the Islamabad Police, however, the police took her away as soon as he came out of the jail.

According to the source, Imaan Mazari was rearrested in a case registered at Bara Kahu police station in Islamabad.

Iman Mazari was granted bail by the court last week in a case registered at Tarnool police station, after which she was also granted bail in the sedition case on Monday following which her release orders took effect.
