Imran Khan given last chance to appear before the Lahore High Court in protective bail plea
LHC directs PTI Chairman Imran Khan to appear by 5pm

Imran Khan has been given a last chance to appear before the Lahore High Court on Monday, in protective bail plea!
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the PTI chief to appear by 5 pm.
As reported, strict security measures have already been taken at the high court to avoid any untoward situation.
Meanwhile, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh has suspended hearings of all other cases.
It was earlier reported that the former prime minister has been waiting for written permission from the court regarding the entry of his vehicle onto LHC premises.
When the hearing resumed today after multiple suspensions, Advocate Khawaja Tariq Rahim, counsel for PTI Chairman, admitted that the bail petition was not signed by Imran Khan.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh taking notice of Imran Khan’s absence despite orders at the outset of the hearing inquired where the PTI chief was as he was asked to appear in court at 2 pm.
Imran Khan’s lawyer told the court that his client was on his way and was late due to security issues.
On the other hand, PTI leaders Hammad Azhar and Farrukh Habib have confirmed that Mr Khan would appear before the court later in the day.
In a tweet, Hammad Azhar wrote, “Imran Khan will reach the high court by 4 pm”.

Earlier in the day, Imran Khan’s private team visited the high court and reviewed security in and around the court.
Imran Khan’s lawyer Azhar Siddique and PTI leaders, including Shibli Faraz and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, reached court.
It will be for the first time that Imran Khan will appear before a court since an assassination attempt on him in October last year.
