Imran Khan has refused to meet with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team over an investigation into the ‘anti-state narrative’, which the latter claims was shared from the PTI founder’s social media account.

FIA cyber crime wing on Wednesday sought permission from the judicial magistrate to interrogate Imran Khan currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail, for sharing “anti-state activities” and “anti-state narratives” on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The team, however, returned with a written response by the embattled PTI leader who has been embroiled in several cases.

“I will answer any question in the presence of lawyers, PTI founder’s answer to FIA,” the source said.

A controversial post shared from Imran Khan’s X- account surfaced in which he urged people to read the Hamoodur Rehman Commission report on the 1971 debacle.

The controversial X post read: “Every Pakistani should study the Hamood ur Rahman Commission Report and get to know who was the true traitor, General Yahya Khan or Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”
