Indian and Chinese troops clash in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh!

As reported, the face-off that took place at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) on December 9 led to “minor injuries to a few personnel from both sides” at the Tawang Sector of Arunachal Pradesh.

According to Indian media claims, 300 China troops entered LAC.

Several Indian Army soldiers were injured in a clash with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) at Yangtse, Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh on December 9, said Indian media.

Approx 100 Chinese soldiers were injured, 12 were captured by the Indian Army and were later released while the number of injured IA Soldiers is less than 20, the report added.

“In certain areas along the LAC in the Tawang Sector in Arunachal Pradesh there are areas of differing perception, wherein both sides patrol the area up to their claim lines. This has been the trend since 2006. On 09 December 2022, Chinese troops contacted the LAC in Tawang Sector which was contested by their own troops in a firm and resolute manner,” claims Indian media.

This is the first incident of its kind after Galwan Valley in 2020.
