Indian flight makes an emergency landing at Karachi airport as a passenger passed away on the plane.
As being reported, IndiGo airlines flight number 6E1412 made an emergency landing at the Jinnah International Airport on Tuesday morning on humanitarian grounds.
The flight was traveling from Sharjah to the Indian city of Lucknow however when it entered Pakistani airspace via Iran, around 4:00 am, an onboard passenger fell ill.
The captain of the flight contacted the air traffic control and requested an emergency landing on humanitarian grounds at the Karachi airport.

Upon receiving the green signal from the Civil Aviation Authority the airline made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport at 5:30 am.
However, as per the sources the 67-year-old passenger, Habibur Rehman, had already passed away on the plane.
According to the Pakistani medical team, the passenger had passed away before landing due to a cardiac arrest.
The medico-legal formalities were completed once the doctors officially declared passengers of flight 6E1412 Rehman dead, the jet took off for the Indian city of Ahmedabad at 8:36 am from Karachi.
