Intermediate exams in Sindh postponed in view of heatwave

As per the new date, the exams will now commence on May 27

The Sindh government has postponed the intermediate exams due to the ongoing heatwave in the province.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah approved the deferral of intermediate exams scheduled to start on May 22 — for five days on the recommendation of Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ali Malkani.

The Intermediate exams will now commence on May 27 as per the new date.

According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Sindh, the intermediate exams, which were scheduled to begin on May 22, will now commence on May 27.

Punjab and Sindh are experiencing intense heatwave conditions, and the Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert.

The Meteorological Department predicted that Karachi will experience excessively hot temperatures.

According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity level in Karachi is 68 per cent, and winds are blowing at a speed of 19 kilometres per hour from the southwest direction.
