Ishaq Dar holds a meeting with President Arif Alvi in the President’s House

Ishaq Dar held a meeting with President Arif Alvi in the President’s House in Islamabad on Friday.
News sources claim that Ishaq Dar met with President Alvi on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
As reported, the finance minister discussed overall political situation of the country, Imran Khan’s long march and other issues with the president.
Ishaq Dar also conveyed the message of Prime Minister Shehbaz to Arif Alvi.
The issues related to the appointment of the new army chief were also discussed in the meeting.
Other than this, Ishaq Dar also had successive meetings with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the news sources, the government allies have assured the PM Shehbaz Sharif of their full support and sent a message that the prime minister should take steps according to the constitutional authority on important appointments and other decisions.
