Ishaq Dar’s interview with BBC’s HARDtalk creates quite a stir in Pakistan
Former finance minister and a close aide of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar made an appearance on BBC’s interview-based program HARDtalk on Monday.
His interview has created quite a stir in Pakistan as The PML-N leader, speaking on BBC News’ show claimed that he had declared all his assets in his tax returns and that he stood for transparency.
BBC journalist Stephen Sackur, host of the show known best for grilling the participants with his questions asked Mr. Dar whether he or his family owned any assets in Pakistan. And also about his return to the country.
There has been a strong reaction to Dar’s comments made on the show and netizens came out roasting Ishaq Dar over his remarks.
