The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday categorically denied Indian army claims saying that no “major exchange of fire in Kiran or Neelum valley had taken place as being propagated by Indian Media.
According to DG ISPR, “Intermittent CFVs (ceasefire violations) by the Indian Army continue along LOC, being befittingly responded. In response to CFV in Dewa Sector reports of damage to Indian posts and heavy casualties to Indian soldiers. No major exchange of fire in Kiran or Neelum valley as being propagated by Indian Media”.
The tweet from Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor came after Indian media falsely claimed that heavy exchange of fire had been taking place between Pakistan and Indian armed forces at Neelum Valley.
According to DG ISPR, Major General Asif Ghafoor, the Pakistan army gave a befitting response and destroyed several Indian Army check-posts. Heavy casualties were also reported on the Indian side.
