Jamaican Beauty Crowned Miss World 2019
Nigerian contestant Toni-Ann Singh has been crowned Miss World 2019 on Saturday at a ceremony held in London.
Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica became the 69th Miss World after winning the competition. She was crowned by last year’s winner, Mexican Vanessa Ponce de Leon.

23-years-old Jamaican psychology student, after winning the contest tweeted, “To that little girl in St. Thomas, Jamaica and all the girls around the world – please believe in yourself”.
“Please know that you are worthy and capable of achieving your dreams. This crown is not mine but yours. You have a PURPOSE,” she further added.

She becomes the fourth Jamaican to win the title.

While Miss France Ophely Mezino and Miss India Suman Rao were the runners-up in the beauty pageant.
Delegates from several countries were in London for about a month competing in events like “Sport,” “Talent” and “Beauty” ahead of the finale.
