Jamshed Dasti joins PTI

He resigned from the National Assembly for possessing a fake BA degree in 2010.

Jamshed Dasti officially joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday.

A seasoned politician and former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from the South Punjab region, met PTI chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday making his inclusion into PTI official.

As reported, former MNA Jamshed Dasti called on PTI Chairman Imran Khan at his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan welcomed Jamshed Dasti to his party and presented the party scarf to him in the meeting.

Jamshed Ahmad Khan Dasti had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 2008 and May 2018.

Dasti was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan on a ticket of the Pakistan People’s Party from NA-178 Muazaffargarh-III in the 2008 Pakistani general election.

He resigned from the National Assembly for possessing a fake BA degree, after the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered him to present his graduation degree in 2010.
