“Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” to air on Chinese Television Network

Humayun Saeed’s blockbuster hit of 2015, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, has been selected to be aired on one of China’s leading television networks. It’s a good omen through JPNA screening on foreign country’s television network as it will pave way for screening of more of the Pakistani content in the future.

While talking to an international tabloid Humayun Saeed said that this is a great initiative Pakistani cinema has found in China , “This shall pave the way for the theatrical release of JPNA 2 and other Pakistani films in China in the future,” he added.

Speaking about the possible release of Punjab Nahi Jaungi in China, Pakistan’s super star told that, “It’s been on my mind for quite some time. But there is a long and complicated process of selecting foreign films for screening. Hopefully, because our film got this jury award at the festival, they won’t be able to ignore it”.

It was earlier in this month when Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat starrer Punjab Nahi Jaungi (2017) won a special jury award at the 1st SOC Film Festival held last week in Qingdao, China.
