Jumadi-Us-Sani Moon Sighted in Pakistan

The Jumadi-us-Sani moon has been sighted in Pakistan and the 1st of Jumadi-us-Sani 1442AH will fall on Friday (January 15).

The announcement of moon sighting was made by the newly appointed Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad in a press conference on Thursday evening in Islamabad.

The chairman announced that the moon was sighted in several areas of the country, including Gwadar.

Representatives of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), Meteorological Department, and others were also in attendance at the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting.

Furthermore, the meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees were also held to assist the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Karachi.
