Supreme Court’s Justice Qazi Faez Isa and his wife test positive for COVID-19.

The development was shared by a press release issued by the apex court’s deputy registrar.

The statement said that the Covid-19 test results of Justice Isa and his wife Sarina Isa were issued by the National Institute of Health.

They are currently quarantined at home and undergoing treatment.

The development comes as Pakistan reports 1841 new coronavirus cases on Saturday.

The sudden spike in COVID cases across the country has raised alarm as the presence of delta variant can result in the fourth wave of coronavirus in Pakistan.
