Australian bowler Kane Richardson on Friday was set to return to play after he was tested negative for coronavirus.
The confirmation comes from Cricket Australia on Twitter. The bowler had been quarantined following complaints of a sore throat will be back in action on the field soon.
The right-arm bowling star was withdrawn from Friday’s game against New Zealand and was replaced by Sean Abbott as he was quarantined for coronavirus.

“Kane Richardson’s test for COVID-19 has come back negative and he is on his way to the ground,” said the official statement.
The Australian cricket team had returned from South Africa earlier this week after concluding their ODI series with the hosts.
Upon their return, Richardson had complained of a sore throat that led medical staff to test the player for the virus.
