Karachi Metropolitan Administrator Iftikhar Shallwani removed from his post

The government of Sindh on Saturday has removed Karachi Metropolitan Administrator Iftikhar Shallwani from his post.

Mr. Iftikhar also had the additional charge of Commissioner Karachi.

According to the notification issued, Laeeq Ahmed has been appointed as the new administrator of Karachi, replacing Iftikhar Shallwani.

While Dr. Syed Saif Ur Rehman has been named as commissioner Karachi.

To be noted, in the last few days, the Karachi Metropolitan Municipality had canceled the allotment orders of all petrol pumps on its land.
