Karachi: Another youth killed for resisting during the robbery

Another youth was killed in the firing of robbers in the Korangi area of Karachi, while an alleged suspect also lost his life as a result of the violence at the hands of the citizens on Saturday.
According to the police and rescue services, the robbers killed 23-year-old Azhar Masood while resisting the robbery.
While the victim’s father and a passer-by were injured in the firing and were shifted to the hospital.

SSP Korangi Sajid Ameer Saduzai said that in the Korangi area, armed robbers tried to snatch the motorcycle from Azhar Masood outside his house.
Masood Akhtar, the 50-year-old father of the deceased, came out of the house and caught one of the accused, but as a result of the firing by the accused, he and a 30-year-old citizen named Osama were also injured.
After the incident, a crowd of citizens gathered at the scene and caught a suspected accused.
Spokesman Edhi Foundation said that the deceased accused was 30 years old and could not be identified immediately.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
According to SHO Awami Colony, weapons and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the dacoit who was killed by the violence of the citizens, further investigations are still underway.

It should be noted that 2 days ago, a student of Karachi’s NED University of Engineering and Technology was allegedly shot dead by robbers for resisting during a robbery.
