Karachi Bodybuilding Champion Shot Dead on Resisting Robbery

Karachi bodybuilding champion named Farooq Rafiq was shot dead on Saturday night for resisting a robbery.

As being reported, a band of suspected robbers tried to rob Farooq at a real-estate agency in the Surjani Town sector 7A.

According to the Police, the 30-year-old Farooq tried to resist the robber’s attempt and smashed one of the suspect’s head with a glass.

During this tussle, one of the robbers shot at him, which resulted in Farooq’s death on the spot.

The unidentified men looted money and 7 mobile phones from the people sitting at the real estate agency and fled.

The body of the deceased was shifted to a hospital for an autopsy, while further investigations are underway.
