Karachi gets Ladies-Only Bus Service inaugurated

Karachi has got a Ladies-Only bus service now!

The Sindh Mass Transit Authority inaugurated a safe, convenient, affordable and comfortable Pink People’s Bus Service at Frere Hall on Wednesday.

The women in Karachi will be able to ride pink buses without paying fares till Feb 7!

Eight buses have been introduced initially for the ladies-only bus service, which will operate on a single route from Model Colony, Malir to Tower via Sharea Faisal from 7 am to 10 pm.

During peak hours in the morning and evening, the dedicated bus service will operate every 20 minutes and every hour during the rest of the day.

While the fare is only Rs50 that will be the best-facilitated commute for college and university students and office-going women.
