Karachi: Kababjees restaurant at Do Darya sealed over COVID-19 SOP violations

The authorities in Karachi have sealed the Kababjees restaurant situated at Do Darya over the SOP violations on Saturday night.

An operation was conducted by the assistant commissioner of Civil Lines, who also imposed a fine of Rs100,000 fine has been imposed on the restaurant.

According to Deputy Commissioner South Karachi Irshad Sodhar, there is a zero-tolerance policy for anyone not following the government’s orders.

“Kababjees didn’t close on time nor was social distancing implemented there,” he said.

The SOPs to be implemented by the restaurants in Sindh include maintaining the social distance between patrons, outdoor dining, wearing masks, and closing at 10 pm.
