Karachi: Metro Cash & Carry closes down Safari store after an employee tested positive for COVID-19

Metro Cash & Carry Pakistan supermarket chain has closed down its University Road store in Karachi after one of its employees tested positive for coronavirus.

The announcement of closing down the outlet until further notice was shared on the official Facebook page of the supermarket.

Our customers and employees come first and their safety is our top priority, stated Metro Cash & Carry management.

According to the notification the management is conducting coronavirus tests of all of its employees and following government guidelines.
