Karachi: Policeman shot dead by a car driver who turns out to be Ex-deputy commissioner’s son
The case of the murder of the policeman was registered on the complaint of a sub-inspector at Darakhshan Police Station.
A Policeman was shot dead by a car driver who turns out to be the ex-deputy commissioner’s son, in Karachi last night.
As reported, a policeman was shot dead by a car driver following an altercation between the two in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase V late Monday night.
The suspect now at large, named Khurram Nisar shot dead a Shaheen Force personnel in DHA Karachi after they intercepted him with a girl who ran away.
After heated arguments, Khurram shot the policeman and fled away. The Police have managed to retrieve the vehicle and weapon used in the crime
According to the news source, Abdul Rehman, and his colleague chased the suspected shooter Khurram Nisar, and spoke to him after they allegedly noticed suspicious activity.
According to SSP South Asad Raza, the suspect fired two to three gunshots from inside his car and drove away.
It emerges that the suspect at large is an expatriate, who lived in Sweden and had come to Pakistan on November 5. The Murder suspect Khurram Nisar traveled to Karachi from Sweden on November 5.
The airport and highways authorities have been informed about the matter in order to prevent any attempt by the suspect to flee, SSP informed.
The CCTV of the incident is now doing rounds on social media, confirming the details of the incident.
