Karachi Rains: Updates After Today’s Rain Spell
Thursday’s heavy rainfall has submerged Karachi into deep waters. This is not the first time that the city was flooded following monsoon showers.
Today super monsoon torrential rains and urban floods continue unabated.
According to the MET office, Karachi received the following amount of rain on Thursday:
Due to the situation, the main underpasses of the city have been flooded that has affected the flow of traffic almost coming to halt at various places, Traffic officials urged the masses to use alternate routes.
Even huge containers placed at MA Jinnah road for security reasons couldn’t stand in the Urban Flooding the metropolis is facing after Thursday’s heavy downpour.
