MET predicts possibility of formation of thunderclouds along Sindh's coastal belt

The Meteorological Department has predicted the formation of thunderclouds along Sindh’s coastal belt, including Karachi, from April 10 to April 12.

This could lead to local thunderclouds developing on Thursday and Friday in Karachi’s suburbs, 

Due to humid winds and rising temperatures, areas such as Gadap, Malir, and the surroundings of the Super Highway could experience rainfall. Residents are advised to stay updated with weather forecasts and take necessary precautions.

According to weather analyst Jawad Memon, in the coming days, upper and central Sindh may experience extremely high temperatures ranging from 44°C to 47°C. Intense heat is expected to grip Sukkur, Jacobabad, Larkana, and nearby areas.

Furthermore, a moderate intensity weather system may bring hailstorms in some areas. Under this system, northern regions are expected to receive thunderstorm-associated rainfall from tonight until April 13.

The analyst also stated that various areas of Punjab are likely to experience dust storms and thundershowers from today till April 12, with strong winds expected particularly in the plains.

Meanwhile, certain areas of Balochistan may receive rainfall between today and April 11. Moderate rain is likely in Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Pishin, and Qila Saifullah.
