Calling out all the biryani lovers, it can’t get better than this! Karachi is to host a Biryani Festival very soon, which is to become an annual tradition, seriously. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has made the announcement.
While addressing a lunch organized by the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), Imran Ismail accepted a request to host a biryani festival and said, “We will be hosting a biryani festival soon and it will become an annual tradition.”
Governor Ismail has made a promise that the government will help increase rice exports to $4 billion, as he added, “the government wants to aid farmers, industrialists, and exporters. Rice exporters are the country’s breadwinners and the doors of Governor House are always open for them”.
Safdar Hussain, Chairman REAP on the occasion said, “The government is focusing on the improvement of every sector.
“It is the exporters’ responsibility to increase exports and support us,” he further added.
