Karachi University on Wednesday has suspended all exams scheduled to take place from November 26.
The development comes after the federal government’s announcement of closure of all educational institutions all across the country due to surging COVID-19 positive cases.
According to the official notification, “The University of Karachi has postponed the examinations scheduled from November 26, 2020, till further orders, the KU Controller of Examinations Dr. Syed Zafar Hussain [said]”.
Furthermore, earlier in the day, Sindh Government announced the suspension of physical classes in the educational institutions across the province, in pursuance of the National Command and Operations Centre’s directives.
According to the official notification, the suspension will remain in effect from November 26 to January 10, 2021.
