Karachi’s East district records Sindh’s highest positivity rate at 26%!
According to data from the provincial health department, the East district recorded a 26 percent Covid-19 positivity rate in the May 10-16 week, the highest figure among all of Sindh’s districts.
While a total of 6,534 new cases were recorded in Sindh during the week, which included the Eidul Fitr holidays.
Province’s overall positivity rate was recorded at 7%.
Sindh reported 719 new coronavirus cases on Monday, taking the provincial tally of infections to 299,896.
While 10,198 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the 24-hour period.
A day earlier province had reported 1,116 COVID-19 positive cases.
According to an update shared by the Chief Minister’s Office, the province also confirmed 23 more fatalities, increasing the death toll to 4,824.
Moreover, 666 more people recovered from the disease,
