Karachi’s temperature expected to rise in the coming days

Karachi’s temperature is expected to rise in the coming days, as per the MET office’s prediction.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Sunday said the weather in Karachi is expected to be mostly hot and humid for the next three days.

The temperature in the port city may hit 36 to 38 degrees centigrade for three days, while the minimum temperature might not fall below 26.6 degrees centigrade, the MET office predicted.

Meanwhile, the humidity level in the air would remain at 67%; however, the speed of winds blowing from the southwest towards the port city would be around 18 kilometers per hour, the PMD added.

During the next 24 hours, the weather of Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid, while the temperature will be between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius in the northern and central areas of the port city, and between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius in the southern areas of the city. It is likely, that the winds will continue to blow from the west at a speed of 15-20 km per hour.

According to the Met department, there is a possibility of an increase in the intensity of heat in central and upper Sindh from May 8 or 9. Meanwhile, the weather will remain hot and dry in most places of the province.

Meanwhile, there is a possibility of light rain in Dadu, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, and Tharparkar today evening or night.
