Kartarpur has reunited siblings after 75 years of separation.
The scenes were emotional at the Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, Pakistan, when a woman who was separated from her family during the violence at the time of the Partition met with her Sikh brothers.
Mumtaz Bibi now belongs to the Warika Tian village in Pakistan as she was adopted by a Pakistani Muslim family after separation from her family.
She is the only sister of her three brothers who now live in the Indian village of Sadrana situated in the Patiala district.
As reported, the families once lost through violence got connected through social media.
Mumtaz Bibi, along with her other family members, reached Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur on Tuesday to meet her long-lost brothers after 75 years.
The teary-eyed siblings hugged each other and recalled the memories of their childhood.
Marking the occasion, the administration at Darbar Sahib Kartarpur offered the family meals and gifts.
