Khadija Siddiqi gives a shut-up call to CCPO Lahore, says ‘I was stabbed 23 times in broad daylight’
Khadija Siddiqui, who was the victim of the stabbing incident has given a shut-up call to CCPO Lahore in wake of his absurd remarks against the motorway gang-rape victim. She said, ‘I was stabbed 23 times in broad daylight’.
Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Umar Sheikh had earlier stated that the victim shouldn’t have had left the home late night.
In a tweet barrister Khadija Siddiqi said, “Ccpo claiming that in our society women/children aren’t allowed to go outside after 12:30 am! Who are you to set time limits for us? I was stabbed 23 times in broad daylight! Don’t tell us that ‘time’ is directly connected to the commission of offence!”.

Khadija Siddiqi was 21 when she was brutally attacked by Shah Hussain in Lahore in May 2016, a classmate whom she had rejected romantically.
In January 2019, In the Khadija Siddiqi stabbing case, the Supreme Court of Pakistan convicted young law student Shah Hussain, son of a prominent lawyer, for attempted murder upholding a 7-year jail term given by the trial court.
