Khuzdar School Bus Attack: Two More Students Succumb to Injuries

13-year-old Haider and 12-year-old Malaika were critically injured during the attack and later embraced martyrdom.

Two more students injured in the Khuzdar school bus attack have succumbed to their wounds, raising the death toll to six.

The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday when alleged Indian-sponsored militants from the group “Fitna-tul-Hindustan” targeted a school bus in Khuzdar.

Security sources confirm that 13-year-old Haider and 12-year-old Malaika were critically injured during the attack and later embraced martyrdom. With their passing, the number of students martyred in the incident has risen to six, including five girls and one boy.

Earlier, three female students were among five people martyred, while 39 others sustained injuries in the cowardly assault. On Wednesday, another student, Sahar Saleem, an 8th grader, also succumbed to her injuries.

Funeral prayers for Ayesha Saleem and Sahar Saleem, daughters of Subedar Saleem from Kahuta’s Kallar Syedan, were held in their hometown and attended by a large number of citizens, including former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and local dignitaries.

Meanwhile, the martyred student Hafsa Kausar was laid to rest in Okara, and Sania Soomro in Rahim Yar Khan. Their funerals were attended by Pakistan Army personnel, political and social figures, relatives, and residents. The atmosphere in these areas was heavy with grief, and eyes were filled with tears.

Security officials allege that India, frustrated by humiliating defeats, has resorted to cowardly acts by using proxies to spread terror and unrest in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Authorities have vowed that those responsible for the blood of these innocent children—including “Fitna-tul-Hindustan” and their Indian handlers—will be held accountable.
