Lahore: Administration seals 55 shops, 8 restaurants for violating COVID-19 SOPs

The administration in Lahore has sealed 55 shops, 8 restaurants, and two wedding halls for violating COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures SOPs.

On the directives of Lahore Deputy Commissioner Muddasir Riaz, these shops, halls, and restaurants have been also fined, with the warning issued for the future.

As being reported, the  Shalimar assistant commissioner sealed three shops and four eateries including NN Ghafoor Pharmacy, Mehtab Pumpers, RS General Store, GM Mashallah Super Store, Shahid General Store at GT Road Darogawala Chowk, and Kashee Mobile Shop.

While assistant commissioner of Model Town sealed five shops in Marble Achara Market and Terrace Café 

Furthermore, the Cantt assistant commissioner sealed two wedding halls, eight shops, and three restaurants sealed, while these were also fined Rs 46,000.

According to the media reports, around 35 shops in Thokar Ada, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Chobarjee, and Paragon Society were also sealed.

The deputy commissioner has warned that the administration will not tolerate SOPs violations.
