Coronavirus cases positivity rate in Lahore has once again reached more than 22%!
According to the Punjab Health Department, 2,212 tests for coronavirus were conducted in Lahore during the past 24 hours, out of which 201 tested positive.
The positivity rate in Lahore has once again gone up to 22.5%.
According to a new study by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), the majority of people in Lahore have contracted the British coronavirus variant.
The study also revealed the presence of a British type of virus in 89% of the patients in Lahore.
While the South African variant of the virus will be found in 2% of the patients.
Meanwhile, the positivity rate in Punjab was 13.5 percent.
Punjab has reported 1,393 new coronavirus cases taking the total number of infections to 319,365.
Punjab’s death toll from COVID-19 has risen to 9,058 after 26 more fatalities were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
