Lahore: A Private Bank’s Building Collapses in Chauburji Area

A private bank’s building collapsed in Lahore’s Chauburji area on Friday afternoon. The accident left several people reportedly trapped under the debris.

As being reported, seven people have been rescued and while the rescue operation is underway.

According to the initial reports, the accident was caused by a blast due to gas leakage.

Cars and motorcycles parked outside the building were also damaged. The gas pipeline is also damaged at the site.

The eyewitnesses were complaining that they could smell the gas.

Security officials have cordon down the area, while rescue and investigation are underway.
