Lockdown has been imposed in Karachi’s District Keamari’s COVID-19 hotspots!
The Karachi administration has imposed a micro smart lockdown in hotspots in District Keamari for two weeks in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.
According to the notification by the deputy commissioner’s office, micro smart lockdown will remain enforced till May 5 in three sub-divisions of Kemari district.
The areas under lockdown include Jungle Shah Colony and Mauripur Road, along with Site’s Metroville, Qasba Colony, and Islam Nagar.
During the lockdown, the movement of people shall be strictly restricted, while social gatherings will remain suspended.
As per the Ary News report, as many as 10 coronavirus patients are present in the three notified sub-divisions of Keamari.
The province of Sindh a day earlier reported 730 new cases of the novel coronavirus, surging the provincial tally to 274,195.
The daily situation report issued by the Sindh Chief Minister’s office confirmed 3 more deaths related to COVID-19. Province’s death toll now stands at 4,559.
While, as many as 373 more patients also recovered overnight, lifting the total to 261,052 in the province.
