Lockdown restrictions in Sindh to remain until end of Ramazan

Lockdown restrictions in Sindh will remain until the end of Ramazan in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the province.

Sindh spokesperson Murtaza Wahab while talking to a local news channel said that lockdown imposed with certain exemptions to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Sindh will remain in place until the end of Ramazan.

He also added that the Sindh Home Department had issued a notification on April 23 stating that the restrictions imposed and exemptions given to some sectors will remain in place until the end of Ramazan.

“The notification is valid to date and there are no plans to take it back,” he said. “Some sectors have been allowed to resume work. They will be allowed to operate.”
