Major Power Breakdown Hits Karachi
A major power breakdown has hit Karachi on Saturday morning.
And by afternoon still, a large number of areas of the metropolis are facing outage amid the sweltering heat.
Citizens from Gulshan e Iqbal ( various blocks) DHA, Malir, Lyari, North Karachi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Liaquatabad, and other areas were complaining of power failure.
Meanwhile, Karachi Electric (KE), the sole power utility company in the city, says it had received reports of outages and was “urgently looking” into them.
Interruption in power supply are being reported from some parts of the city. We are urgently looking into this.
