Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure in Karachi’s Yusuf Goth

A man is reported to be arrested in Karachi on Monday for indecent exposure after a disturbing incident occurred in the Surjani area.
As reported, the incident took place around Street No. 1 in Yusuf Goth, where the man was seen stripping naked in front of a woman while his friends filmed and cheered him on.
This act was captured on video and circulated widely on social media, sparking significant public outrage and condemnation.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West, Tariq Elahi Masoi, took immediate notice of the incident, emphasizing that such behaviour is unacceptable in society. Although no formal complaint was filed at the Surjani police station, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
Masoi has also directed that strict action be taken not only against the individual who exposed himself but also against those who recorded the incident.
This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding public indecency in Karachi, as similar cases have been reported previously, including instances where men have harassed women in public settings.
