Manto’s grandson calls out for Indian publication misquoting about his mother

The news of Saadat Hasan Manto’s daughter traveling to India for the premiere of Nandita Das’s directorial biopic Manto has been making headline all across the Pakistani and Indian media.
In the wake of news story published by an Indian publication, Sadaat Hasan Manto’s grandson has hit hard back at the publication for misquoting about his mother.
According to Mohammad Farooq, who is also a journalist by profession,  his mother, Manto’s daughter Nuzhat had given no comments to the Indian media publication DNA.

By taking it over social media, Mohammad Farooq in a series of tweets tried to clarify about the publication’s statement.

He went on to clarify that the news of his mother traveling to India for the film screening is correct, while rest of the claims are not true.
