Marriage halls to reopen before August 2 in Sindh, owners’ association
The association of marriage halls owners announced on Tuesday that halls in Sindh will be allowed to reopen before August 2.
The president of the marriage halls association, Raees Ahmed, has said that the authorities of Sindh government have agreed to reopen the halls in a recent meeting in which local bodies minister Nasir Hussain Shah was also present.
The provincial government has asked the association to prepare the SOPs after which the authorities will formulate a plan before allowing opening of marraige halls, he said, adding that we have assured the government of following all SOPs.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Sindh government had shut the marriage halls during the last week of March as part of its lockdown to tackle coronavirus pandemic.
The COVID-19 infection has so far claimed 1,567 lives in the province.
