Micro smart lockdown imposed in Karachi’s Korangi District
Micro smart lockdown has been imposed in Karachi’s Korangi District!
The district administration has imposed a micro smart lockdown in four localities of Korangi till August 6 to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The areas sealed include:
- Nasir Colony – UC 2
- Chakra Goth – UC 3
- Bhittai Colony – UC 6
- Gulzar Colony – UC 10
All the entry and exit points of the above-mentioned neighbourhoods will be sealed and the residents have been instructed not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary and wearing masks have been made compulsory.
Furthermore, all types of gatherings are banned in the locality and business, malls will remain closed
As per the directives, utilities will remain open as per routine while public transport and pillion riding will be suspended.
Karachi’s situation is worsening amid the presence of the Delta variant which continues to spread.
