A senior leader of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Munir Khan Orakzai has contracted novel coronavirus on Saturday.
Mr. Orakzai who is also a member of the National Assembly is receiving treatment at Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar, and according to the doctors, his condition is stable.
Meanwhile, his son, Akhtar Munir Orakzai told Geo News, “My father was on a ventilator at Hayatabad Complex last night. He is doing much better now”.
He revealed that his father had contracted the virus after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive for the virus.
“Because of the lockdown, my father is at home. The rest of the family is also undergoing tests,” he further added.
60-year-old Munir Khan Orakzai has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018.
