MNA Munir Khan Orakzai, a senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has passed away on Tuesday, days after recovering from COVID-19.
According to his family, Munir Khan Orakzai passed away from heart failure in Kurram, just days after the had recovered from the coronavirus.
Irfanullah Khan Orakzai, the deceased lawmaker’s nephew, told the news source that his uncle had tested positive for the coronavirus in April but made a full recovery and last tested negative on May 8.

Sharing the details of his death, Irfanullah further added that when the family tried to wake him up for morning prayers, he did not respond, upon which he was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
