Monkeys steal Covid-19 test samples from a health worker in India n city of Meerut inciting fears they could have spread the virus in the local area.
The video of the incident went viral on social media, showing the thief monkeys ran up nearby trees and one then tried to chew the test sample container.
The Meerut medical college superintendent, Dheeraj Raj, shared the details of the incident with AFP on Friday after footage of the incident went viral on social media.
However, the sample boxes were later recovered and reportedly had not been damaged.
