Former Punjab MPA Murad Raas recently bid farewell to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) over May 9 violence.
According to the news source, the two former leaders of the PTI met in Lahore on Wednesday at the residence of Jahangir Tareen.
the Former Punjab Education Minister announced the decision after holding a meeting with senior politician Jahangir Tareen.
Senior politician Abdul Aleem Khan and the former prime minister’s special assistant Awn Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.
Sources claim that in a possible success for senior politician Jahangir Khan Tareen — once PTI chief’s closest aide — will announce his new political party, mostly comprising the former ruling party’s defectors, this week.
Tareen will be patron-in-chief of his upcoming political party due to SC disqualification while Abdul Aleem Khan will be the new party’s president, the source added.
Moreover, Awn Chaudhry will be the organizer of Jahangir Tareen’s party.
As reported some important personalities belonging to Bahawalpur also joined the Tareen group.
Bahawalpur-based Sajjad Bukhari, Tehseen Gardezi, and Jahanzeb Warn met with the senior politician.
Former MPA from Uch Sharif, Makhdoom Syed Iftikhar Hasan Gilani, also met with Jahangir Tareen and announced joining the senior politician.
Five-time MPA from Punjab, Iftikhar Gilani, also discussed various political issues and the future course of action with Tareen.
He also assured that he would go ahead in politics with the Tareen group.
