Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has tested positive for coronavirus.
Sharing the health update on social media, the provincial minister in a tweet on Monday, said: “I have tested positive for COVID 19. I would like the people that have come in contact with me in the past few days during meetings to get tested. May Allah protect all of you.”
Meanwhile, Punjab in the past 24 hours has reported 435 cases of the novel coronavirus and 14 deaths.
According to government data, Punjab’s total cases of COVID-19 virus stand at 164,268, and the death tally is 5,051.
As per the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), coronavirus also claimed 26 more lives in the last 24 hours. The country’s overall death toll is now 12,333.
