Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Murder Mystery’ marks Netflix’s biggest opening weekend ever
The latest Adam Sandler film to debut on Netflix “Murder Mystery,” has broken previous viewing records on the streaming service.
The streaming giant has revealed on Tuesday. Murder Mystery which also co-stars Jennifer Aniston, has more than 30.9 million views in its first 3 days, according to the statement shared in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

A Netflix spokesperson confirmed that the data tweeted out was accurate, and clarified that Netflix only counts views if members finished at least 70% of a film.
In case, if you did not notice, Netflix debuted Adam Sandler’s latest Murder Mystery, which has created quite the stir on the streaming service.
According to the film’s synopsis, when an NYC cop (Adam Sandler) finally takes his wife (Jennifer Aniston) on a long-promised European trip, a chance meeting on the flight gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern day whodunit.
Netflix had signed a four-movie deal with Sandler back in 2015, and doubled down with a deal for another 4 movies in 2017.
