NAB arrests Sindh Bank president Tariq Ahsan

Following a joint investigation in Karachi and Rawalpindi, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested three key officials of Sindh Bank in the fake accounts case.

Acccording to NAB sources told that Bilal Sheikh, ex president and current director Sindh Bank, gave a loan of Rs1 billion from the bank to Omni Group.

During the probe NAB also arrested president of Sindh Bank Tariq Ahsan and executive vice president Nadeem Altaf.

All suspects arrested will be transferred to Islamabad. NAB is currently seeking their transit remand from the accountability court, Karachi.
