Nausheen Shah To Star Alongside Mohsin Abbas Haider in ‘Once Upon A Time In Karachi’

Nausheen Shah will be starring alongside Mohsin Abbas Haider in upcoming Pakistani film ‘Once Upon A Time In Karachi’. The actress will essay the leading lady opposite Mohsin.

Nausheen is a popular TV actress and has numerous hit projects to her credit such as Khud Parast, Deewar-e-Shab and Ghari Do Ghari.  The film will mark Nausheen’s big-screen debut and Mohsin’s silver screen comeback.

Earlier, Nausheen and Mohsin shared screen space in Hum TV drama serial Deewar e Shab so this will not be their first time together on the reel.

Helmed by Abu Aleha,  Once Upon A Time is scripted by Ali Moeen.

Mohsin Abbas Haider to Star in Once Upon a Time in Karachi

‘It’s a social issue-based film, just like the ones I like,” Mohsin opened up about the film in a conversation with Oye Yeah.

Mohsin further revealed that the cast of the film is still to be finalized however the script is completed which is written by Moin Ali. In addition to being a social film, it will also have a tinge of entertainment and maintain the essence of the Pakistani cinema.

“The story is something that a lot of average Pakistanis will be able to relate to, it’s a story of masses and women particularly,” the actor added.

The film is currently underproduction and the makers have plans to reveals some more details about the film shortly.
